We are happy to have worked with the North Shore Tribal Council, together with Sagamok Anishinawbek and Batchawana First Nations, to bring you this Documentary. The production was filmed on location in the above mentioned communities, focusing on the use of our First Nations Infrastructure Resiliency Tool-Kit (FN-iRT) for their climate risk assessment project.
While applying the FN-iRT, the local traditional knowledge from Elders, youths, hunters, and knowledge keepers regarding climate impacts First Nations face, was key in the planning and protection of their community infrastructure.
Using the technical process, combined with the community's local knowledge in the adaptation planning, helps to build resilient communities in the face of climate change.
This documentary film was made available due to the collaboration and partnership between the OFNTSC, the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions, and the Prairie Climate Center.
